anyone collect cigarette cards?

We cleared out my uncles flat a couple of years ago and found a load of old cigarette cards and I do mean a load!
Hundreds of the things.

Each one of those cigarette packets is full of cards and there is probably 50 of them.

we also have half a dozen very tatty albums.

Any idea where to sell them or what to do with them? I did think of setting some out in picture frames, but that would take forever!

How much are they worth? Not in pristine condition, unfortunately.

My dad worked for a cigarette company and when he passed away I literally placed most memorabilia from pens, keyrings, beer mats, trays, signs you name it I had it (including cigarette cards) on ebay for a small amount not to make money but for people to have the items as they where mint condition and over a few months its all gone. It sold to cover all the fees and postage (world wide) and a lot of the money I donated to charity but as I said as it was to good to bin and it is highly collectable.

Take them along to one of the seemingly endless TV antique shows such as The Antique Roadshow of Flog-it.
Used to collect them as a child & play flick-cards in the playground with them.

My uncle had thousands of the players ones, used to love reading the back, about tiger sharks etc, there was still some wonder left in the world then.
