Royal Mail Help!

I'm having some issues with royal mail and the whereabouts of my package! I have spoken to several people and to two separate sorting offices and I am getting conflicting information.

Does anyone here work for royal mail or know where I might be able to get help? I've even tried their twitter account and they are useless

Use their website, the item is probably lost and you'll need to make a claim online

It depends on how it was sent. Is it a Royal Mail Tracked item, a Special Delivery item, or a standard parcel?
Do you have a Royal Mail tracking number for it? If you do, any office, local or central, should be able to tell you exactly where it is.
If not, what information do you have as to when it was sent?

Well it now seams that the item is being returned to sender, despite me not having once been notified by royal mail that they have my parcel and the local sorting office having no idea where it is! Got to love royal mail
