Doing something useful / meaningful during these events

I can see myself having quite a lot of spare time over the next 8 - 12 weeks, and I would like to explore ways of using it in such a way as to be useful to society.
My wife already has running errands for the local elderly pretty much sown up.
I'm thinking of something along the lines of unpaid taxi driver for NHS staff or other frontline workers - but I suspect that the logistics of making this work would be challenging - I would assume I'd need to be tested on a regular basis to ensure I didn't infect anyone - and I'd probably need to steam clean the interior of the car after every trip.
I've tried a quick google, but didn't find anything other than a page from a local church - which is not something I'm keen to associate myself with.
Anyone got any pointers as to what I might usefully do?

I'm self isolating as I'm considered vulnerable but I've registered with a local voluntary group as a 'phone friend' to call those on their own who might appreciate a friendly chat now and again.
It's far better that help is coordinated through trusted existing charities and groups than ad-hoc by individuals.
