Just had some toast with Frank Cooper's Original Oxford Marmalade that went out of date last October. It was lurking at the back of the fridge behind an almost empty jar of Bon Maman Raspberry Jam which had no discernible date stamp at all.

In the grand scheme not too bad and I'm sure I'll find some real horrors between now and 4th April when we're due our next delivery.

Freezer Roulette is always fun, those mystery plastic pots of unknown contents where the labels have come off. Until we reach that point it's time for odd-mix dinners...I've always thought that fish-fingers and burgers were a delicious low rent version of surf n turf!

In a box of camping stuff I rediscovered a 1kg bag of pasta (still in date).

Thinking of selling it and taking early retirement.

Found a dozen of these in the shed, they've each been used once and then discarded so if push comes to shove will reuse.

I've some frozen escargot in garlic butter in the freezer. Next to the frozen chicken vindaloo, rice and mushroom bhaji mix up from 2015.

Don't know which would be more of a bowel busting roulette to be honest.
