12 Week Self Isolation - who needs help?
Discussion
Hi all,
Just reading some of the main thread on Coronavirus and there's a number on there who are now isolated for 12 weeks, with no clear means of support (either family is ill, away, stuck or not available) and we're waiting for g'ment supply chains to kick in.
I'm thinking could we keep this thread to a list of those that need help, where they are in the country and a means to contact them (or enable email in PH), as if there's anyone stuck in the local area to me - Rayleigh, Essex, I'll do what I can to help, drop off boxes of food (and pet food), collect and bring medications, and whatever else would help.
If we can keep this just for those requests, I think it'd be a good thing to do. Obviously, wear gloves, leave boxes on doorsteps and don't pop in for a cuppa to chat about V8's.
Cheers,
Mark

Great post Fella and I was thinking of doing something similar today as I'm expecting the letter in regards to self isolation either today or at some point this week, although I started two weeks ago anyway.Just reading some of the main thread on Coronavirus and there's a number on there who are now isolated for 12 weeks, with no clear means of support (either family is ill, away, stuck or not available) and we're waiting for g'ment supply chains to kick in.

Thankfully I've got a great support network of three local people and they've been fantastic.

Thanks for offering to help out but it's better that offers are channeled and coordinated through the local voluntary groups that already exist or have sprung up around the country. A quick search will find them.
OK, makes sense... There's a fair number of people on the main thread stating they have no or little support, so hopefully they can find those groups.RemarkLima said:
