Dreaming of release day - What are your plans?

Well I'll be working a straight couple of weeks I think when we get back but I think I'll be retaxing the Evora and taking a 20 mile long route into work. Probably nip into my mates pub on the way home try and help get them going again. Hopefully we will be able to take a couple of planned holidays in July/August.
The Mrs will be straight round to see her mum it's killing her been away from her folks.
I would imagine all the bikers will be out/coast towns/shopping centres will be rammed. I guess there will be a huge party in every pub/street in the land.
We have a lot to look forward to unless my case probably been a severely overweight functioning alcoholic gets in the way if this goes on much past the 3 weeks
I would guess there may be some kind of phased reopening by region possibly so one big country wide party might not happen but let's wait and see.

I don't go to our local pub, but my youngest daughter does.
We were talking over dinner last night that it would be good to go there as much as possible when they can reopen.... It's a "one lady band" owns / runs the place single handedly, so to put more money in the till.
Our 2 local restaurants. One is Italian, the other, Chinese. We eat at both a couple of time / month. They've been closed 2 weeks already. They're family owned / run, too.
Give them a helping hand.

Agree and nor will there be a VE day style "it's all over, go and party" hard end. Expect measures to progressively relax and re-inforce on a country-by-country/region-by-regjon basis for at least another 18 months until either a vaccine is found and produced at scale, the global population acquires herd immunity or the virus mutates into a weaker strainI'll just be happy to collect the car I put a deposit on 2hrs before the lockdown and go from there!
I can’t see us getting back to ‘normal’ any time this year.
At best, restrictions lifted on contact with non household family for a short while and then back to how we are now. Pattern repeated a few times over the summer to keep infected numbers steady.
Sporting events/festivals/mass gatherings will be out until next year, this things not going away any time soon.

As above I think it will be gradual, with large gatherings being one of the last things to open up. I suspect we'll still be looking at international travel restrictions etc
My plans aren't particularly grand but would involve driving the 90 miles to see my parents who are lockdown as high risk, eating a big Mac (don't eat then that often but ever since they closed I've wanted one), taking my kids to the park and maybe having a bbq with a few friends.

FFS - This thread is for day dreaming and a small amount of hope in a world where we are constantly blasted with bad news.

Queue to work again, queue for 3hrs to get my hair cut, not have to queue to get in the Supermarket.
Book a track day to test/enjoy the fruits of my labours if they become available, water all the plants i'm planting, or dependent on when this day is start to eat some of them.
Carry on not having any close contact with anyone to avoid catching this thing until a vaccine is found.
