In these strange times what have you achieved today?

I’ll start off with successfully given my wife’s and my rings a good polishing and they have come up lovely.....

Stop sniggering at the back... I am of course talking about our wedding rings...

Getting up for work.

Cleaned all the inside windows and painted half the boot room.

A 30 mile bike ride and part of a stock take for my online store.

I’ve been at work today and painted three doors and repaired the netting above the fence surrounding a 3G pitch. Tomorrow I’m hoping to give the doors a second coat, touch up some scuffs on the skirting boards and clean a stairwell. Thursday I’m planning on cleaning a hall floor, do a site wide litter pick and have a general tidy up for when the staff return on Tuesday. It’s all go y’know.

I repaired the boiler it had various leaks and a failed expansion tank,it took all day.

Hoovered one car out and cleaned it inside with anti bact cleaner. ( bit extreme i know) going to do the other car tomorrow.

MRS400 has cleaned all the windows and window frames downstairs and then popped in to town to get some supplies.

The lawn and the hedges and the borders have already been done theres no decorating that needs doing.

So after tomorrow i think we are going to struggle.

Mowed the lawn on the ride-on!

Our gardeners are isolating, so I did it myself. Was quite fun!

Cut the grass, trimmed the hedges, general tidy up of garden and cleaned the conservatory. Next is giving the car a good clean and polish, sort out the garage.

One hour outside home allowed for excerise so that's an impressive average speed on a bike. :-)

Realised I need a gardener to take care of my out of control hedge

Hoovered my car, wife’s car and the van out

Replaced the flow valve in the shower, it’s still leaking so suspect it’s an internal fault, tomorrow’s job is fit a new shower. Yuk

Took the tailpipes off my car, ran them through the dishwasher then cleaned them with the Cif and wire wool intended for cleaning the hob...came up lovely

Dropped the OH off at the hospital to be induced. Painted some fencing, cleaned one window and walked the dog.

Tried to cancel Wifi contract and set up new one, not sure why that is so hard to do.

I spent the morning making a tray of hot cross buns. They turned out looking a little 'rugged' in appearance, but taste alright.

This afternoon I carried on with my project to give my car a top to toe clean and polish, something I haven't done by hand for years, due to age and infirmity!

And a nice supper this evening followed by an episode of Montalbano.

Started sending out emails to football clubs this evening as part of the research for my second book.

I wrote one in 2013 (football-based) and now the CV crisis is here, seems like a good time to put the next idea into practice.

Finally managed to train our new chickens to sleep in the coop rather than trying to roost on top of fences / bushes / trees.

Did a couple of small jobs on my track bike. Looked at a gearbox I’m rebuilding for my mates bike. Decided I couldn’t be bothered and put it away again. Had some dinner and spent the rest of the day doing sweet fa.

Going to cut my grass tomorrow, build this gearbox then refit it in the bike. Just waiting for a gasket to finish the job then.
