Hermes delivery: Thurrock hub

What is it with Hermes.

Specifically Thurrock, I’ve had 4 orders, from 4 completely different suppliers, eBay, Amazon, and direct to suppliers, that Hermes have decided to RTS, without any interaction from me.
Customer service, is an oxymoron, making promises and not keeping them.
It’s most frustrating, waiting for a simple thing, so I can continue to do a little painting.
How are they still in business

Do you have an unusual, ambiguous or hard to find address?

Given that most delivery companies now resort to leaving stuff at your front door, it seems odd you’re in this predicament?

I'm local and have had 3 hermes deliveries in the last week with no issue.

Nope, simple unambiguous address, it’s always the Thurrock hub, all goes swimmingly until then; then it’s RTD time, usually with no explanation, though sometimes with an address flag; customer service even acknowledged nothing wrong with our address, and they’ve delivered successfully in the past

They are the worst service out there, even worse than Parcelfarce. The current crisis has just given them more excuses to explain away the appalling service.
