Colouring pages for kids

Slightly off topic, has anyone ever seen Kindig designs and Foose on Discovery when they draw the plan for a customisation? I’m sure they use a scanned picture and trace their designs as they look too sharp and consistent. Just wondering if they are as “freehand” as they try to suggest.
