Successfully returned mattress?

Has anybody successfully returned a mattress to one of these online companies that say “If not happy after 60days (or whatever time period) return for full refund”
The reason I ask is that the supplier cannot re sell it so I would think they Would make it difficult to return. Or are the numbers of returns so low that they just write it off?

Anybody on done so?

yes.(i was busy). I returned an eve money was returned and mattress picked up..

Yes I returned an Ergoflex when I found I hated the feel of a memory foam mattress. In my case it was collected by a British Heart Foundation truck & went off to one of their charity shops, which I think is what many of the mattress firms do. If you go into some of the bigger charity shops you'll see piles of mattresses for sale.

Note the collection isn't an instant process - you may well have to store it until they are ready to collect. I think there are rules on no staining or damage as well.

Eve sell theirs through Wowcher, as factory refurbished having been returned.

My local BHF furniture store has about 40 Emma (or is it Casper? Or Eve? They are all so similar!) mattresses stacked up. Must be where they all go!

Was looking at one recently with good reviews from many people, and in the first instance of not being satisfied they will send out an additional mattress topper to attempt to make it more comfortable, but if not, you can return for a full refund

I volunteered at a charity shop last year in between jobs. They had plenty of mattresses from manufacturers that had mattresses returned to them by customers.

Yes. We bought one from Nectar Sleep but specifically checked the T&Cs about a cash refund as many of the current crop of sellers/companies who advertise a money back guarantee don’t offer your money back to you, it’s just towards another one of their mattresses.

Nectar took a few weeks to collect it (some generic mattress collection company so it sat in the garage for a while - they go back to the factory for refurb and then are donated.

Yanis were really good - when I ordered 2 medium matrasses and found them too soft, they came round again and swapped them for firm ones. no charge.
