Should I be concerned- items being left on car?

Someone has been leaving bits on my wife's car- either on the scuttle panel by the wipers or on the roof.

Bizarre as they are 12mm compression fittings, and the other bits, not so sure..



A near neighbour is a plumber, so can only think that when he's filling up his van (his garage is near where the car is parked) he's dropped some bits, and someone thinks they are from our garage?

To be fair, she may be banging the plumber and these are love tokens, but I'd prefer 22mm tube rather than the current length she may be getting

What is the book (catalogue?) next to the keys on the left of the photo? That's probably got something to do with it.
