Neighbours living in the dark!

I assumed after a few weeks she moved on and maybe was just staying there a few days maybe due to COVID etc.
There are never any lights in use in the house and nobody is ever seen. There is no furniture visible and no sign of life.
The other day I was out in my garden late on, about 1am when I heard a noise from the garden next door. I took a vantage point and looked over, when I saw someone moving around in the kitchen of next door. I assumed that this must be an intruder in an empty house. I watched for a few minutes to try and catch them moving again so I could get a good look and call the authorities. At this moment a woman's voice shouted at me, asking what I was looking into her property for! I could not see the person inside as it was so dark. No lights, no torch, nothing.
I explained I thought it was an intruder and I was sorry, I only knew it was the same woman was she has an out of area distinct accent which I remembered from the first time and only time I spoke to her.
This may sound odd but as I've been spending more time in the garden recently I have noticed that I can sometimes hear the waste and flush of the toilet from next door if I am in a certain part of the garden. She is very much still living there but without any lights or ever coming past the windows.
I have never seen the bin move from the yard, she generates no waste, the car seemingly never moves and it doesn't seem like there is any activity what so ever.
I have become fascinated, I can't help it.
One of my other neighbours is very much visible, he is always out in the garden etc. But again he has no curtains, no blinds and no electric lighting in the house, he looks abit of a hippy so I'm assuming he just sleeps on the floor or something.
Seriously curious as to what is happening next door though.

Who knows there may be some perfectly normal explanation for how she is.

Horror films teach us that this approach leads to a shallow grave under the patio. But recognising that horror films aren't documentaries ...Who knows there may be some perfectly normal explanation for how she is.
