Mask wearing idiocy

This whole mask ruling that comes in force tommorow is the most pointless thing the government have ever done,

First off the surgical masks that people wear are only good for 2 hours then need changing, yet people wear them non stop, people touch them taking them on and off, constantly touching the outside, lowering it to their neck then bringing it back up to their nose, it will literally do nothing to protect anyone from the virus, if anything it will make it worse. And why so fking late?

Dont even get me started on the fabric ones, they are literally a sheet of fabric, moisture and droplets goes through it like nothing.

I feel like this whole thing has been a bit of a farce tbh, the public are just obeying all orders though, normal flu has a peak and dies down exactly like covid, sweden have flattened the curve and they took an entirely different approach to anyone else.

When people were clapping for the nhs you should have seen how quiet the hospitals were, all the wards were at most 25% full compared to the usual 90%, it never shows that in the news though, just pure scaremongering.

Im also hearing more and more stories about peoples death being put as covid when it was completely unrelated or they were never diagnosed.
