Maureen 118 212 - Who can still be using this!?

I regularly still hear radio adverts for Maureen 118 212 directory services.

@£2.50+ a go and given that almost all of the population (inclusive of OAPs) own and know how to operate a smart phone, who the hell would even contemplate using this service?

My sister would use it around 10 years ago just because she was lazy. I’m assuming it’s tards who don’t remember how expensive it it, truly bizarre though

About once a quarter, sales manager (IT security) here regularly reads out a list of culprits who have called various 118 numbers to find the number of a customer whilst on the move. Normally it's whilst they are delayed/ late/ whatever and want to let the cusotmer know.

Boss tells them to pull over, safely use their smartphone then get going again and to stop wantonly wasting money.
