Golden Wedding anniversary ideas (my parents)

it's my parents' 50th wedding anniversary this year and would like to do something nice for them... maybe in the £500-1000 sort of price range, max...

any ideas please?

You dont give a location but some form of trip out.

The other option would be some photos of their family? ie you, brothers sisters etc

Hot air balloon ride with champagne etc? That's only a relatively short experience for the price though.

Weekend away somewhere? Possibly a spa type weekend where their main aim is to do as little as possible apart from eat/drink.

Upto a grand would put them into a week abroad somewhere category also.

Or you could buy them a slightly rough MX5
