Ray-Ban repairs

No other relevant forum that I can see for this.
Anyone have any recommendations for Ray-Ban repairs? Got a set of 70's Wayfarers which have hinge issues, made more so since I sat on them, after a quick Google I'm not really sure on who to use that's reputable, I'd rather they weren't lost or, as silly as it sounds, the lenses removes and replaced as they're the original glass ones, just seeing if anyone has used any of the online places

Take them to your nearest decent optican. If they cant fix it they will be able to send it back to rayban for you.

"Rayban" doesn't exist anymore as its a fragment of essilux now. And sadly they won't be in the least interested in fixing an old pair. You can get some spares for the current wayfarers which may or may not fit. Not very likely.
Your best bet is one of the specialist spectacle repair companies, we use a really good one in Birmingham but they aren't open to the public.
Ask your local independent practice if they can help.

I’ve got a pair of B&L era Wayfarers that lost one of it’s screws out of the hinge, I took it to the local Boots optician and the nice lady replaced it free of charge

I’d stepped on a pair of my Raybans like the clutz I am and I’ve had no problems getting them repaired. Took them to vision express and they ordered new lenses and sent them off to the lab to be repaired.
Looked at the price of new Raybans (£££££) and fell about laughing.

Don't bother with Rayban direct. I've found unless you want something repaired that's less than 6 months old, they won't bother and will just give you 20% off a new pair. Unfortunately.
