I bought a inverter washing machine and dishwasher to cut down on it, and I only ever put the 2 on at night

Hoover is annoying but can’t get around that one I’m afraid.

I also can’t stand the sound of children laughing or screaming. Why do they scream so much? If I screamed like that people would tell me off.

No not weird, our washer and dryer were in boiler house for same reason. No near neighbours to annoy though. Get a robot vacuum to clean while you're out to solve the other issue.

My mrs hates the sound of washing machine too. Also hates F1 on the TV because its a similar noise (apparently) esp the in car shots.

I’m the same. As I get older I find myself quite noise sensitive...

At work, if a crewmate’s radio is loud I can’t focus on anything else.

I find the noise of hand dryers, particularly the Xelerator ones (with a small round spout) almost physically painful... weird
