Sending flowers.

A family friend has just had a rough time with her health and we want to send flowers. Is there a currently “go to” firm that will do a good job?

That's what we've done in the past with OK results. But someone may have replied with "Wizzo Flowers.com" is brilliant at the moment.

We'll buy local then.

I picked up some from https://www.bloomandwild.com/ but from Sainsburys at the weekend, nicely wrapped and look like they'll last.

Another vote for Bloom & Wild - and depending on the bouquet size (given Covid), they can package to go through an average letterbox.

Never been dissappointed with quality of flowers and plants delivered (we tend to send plants rather than flowers)

If you are a Costco member, they have a small selection, reasonable priced and excellent quality

Freddies Flowers are very good if you want to send a flower subscription. They want to send them weekly, but a bunch will last almost two weeks and they're pretty flexible if you get them on the phone. Really beautiful selections

I agree with this. I have used Interflora and Bloom and Wild and both times what has turned up looked like you could get better for £10 from a petrol station. The last one my Mum couldn't believe what I'd sent her was meant to be £50 worth of flowers when she showed me what had arrived. She was grateful regardless, but we were both shocked at how pathetic it was for the money.

Local florists next time for sure.

Pleasantly surprised me when I've used them a couple of times - although I like the idea of calling a local
