Toilet paper wtf is going on again.

I mentioned this in another thread, is there really another run on the toilet paper stocks in this Country? I did an on-line shop the other day and just couldn't find anything in stock on ASDA's website to buy so I tried to get some of Amazon instead. Said it was in stock and would be delivered today, showed as dispatched but then got an email saying it was delayed and then after that got another email saying it was cancelled. The last time that happened on an order it was out of stock but Amazon is still showing this lot as next day delivery.
So what is going on. Despite none of the Supermarkets closing even briefely when we had the last panic buying are people really doing as all the other sheep are doing and buying up all the stocks of toilet roll again? Its absolute shear lunacy if so and it points out that 80% of the population should have absolutely no say at all in how our Country is run.
Its not as if the virus even gives you the s
ts in the first place. As I don't venture into physical shops anymore, how is the stock in them, are there pensioners staring at empty shelves again whilst the mask lovers - I do it for them - hoard all the food and bog roll.

And how many of the s that panic buy everything in sight at the first sign of trouble were screaming “for the many, not the few” during the election? Plenty, no doubt. Nothing like a pandemic to show peoples’ true colours.

No, I usually go to Aldi once every couple of weeks or so, I've actually been in without a mask a few times without any bother but whenever I mention that on here I get abuse for doing so, apparently I'll end up in chokey or something. So I've done it all on-line instead but despite having everything else that I needed they haven't got any toilet roll, and neither have Amazon. I can understand hoarding if you are so frightened that you think the end of the world is coming but why is it toilet roll? it makes no sense. If you bought 10,000 tinns of beans of a good few litres of bottled oxygen or something I could understand it, but toilet roll? It can only be because someone else has bought some and they are incapable of thinking for themselves.

They claim they’re flushable, in reality they’re not, you want just one or even a cotton bud to lodge in the lip where the pipes join each other and a build up occurs very quickly.
Back on topic, OP says he mentioned bog roll shortage in another thread then decided to start a new thread on it moaning yet he is fuelling the fear by posting such rubbish.
No different to when they talk about it on the radio, just puts more fear in the muppets to go out and stock up adding to the problem.
