I dont mean cars, because I think thats almost a given.
I was looking earlier for an email to a guy here that makes kitchens, and a search through my inbox reminded me of quite a few things that I'd seen here, and ended up with:
A weird limited edition Seiko watch
A trip to Bhutan
An entire low profile underfloor heating system
A couple of torches
A lighting control system
A woodburning stove (though this one doesnt show up in my inbox, its definitely as a result of here.
Book: The damp house
A positive input ventilation system.
A CCTV system
Pretty sure I'm missing a few things out from a couple of the threads on useless crap you dont need, but these are the highlights for me!

Who did you get the woodburning stove from?
I've bought a couple of watches from Dom, plenty of Lego from Russ, any number of books or albums recommended by people, couple of RC cars inspired by threads, lots of camera gear, some hifi gear, probably plenty of assorted stuff I don't need.
Oh and 2 TVRs.

Laser eye surgery about 7-8 years ago. I followed a thread on the health section. Went to the same place in Fulham that a lot of posters had used. Brilliant service, fantastic outcome and v grateful to all the guys who shared their experiences.
