Making cash from Facebook

Not sure where to put this so apols if Lounge isn’t the place

I’m a member of a number of Facebook groups from a couple with a few dozen friends to one with 8k members and another with 15k

The bigger ones - a local buy/sell and an owners group - are very strict on their content and draconian in enforcement and I’ve slowly come to realise somebody must be protecting their revenue stream

I can’t find anything online but having a group of 15k members must be a decent commodity but have no idea what it’s worth or how it’s moneytised other than targeted ads relevant to content

Anyone know?

I set up a FB group that now has 7k members, I’d love to know how you make a penny out of it!
The reason I am strict about content posted is that it’s a whole world of pain dealing with complaints and reported posts if you don’t nip it in the bud.
