eBay (again)....should I say something?

I bought an item on EBay, it was cheap enough, in fact the postage was 30% more than the item(itself only 6 quid), but this morning, I go out to the post box, and there it is , my item, great thinks me, that arrived quickly, except there is no postage or even address on it, just a post it note with my name. The question is I got charged 8 quid postage for something that was then hand delivered ( guessing the seller lives pretty local to me!), on the one hand great service, on the other I feel a bit like I got way over charged for postage that wasn’t even used!
What say the PH massive, let it slide, or perhaps enquire about ‘sharing’ the postal charge?

I can see what you’re saying but it’s not like they knew where you lived and that you’d order the item when they put the listing up.
It could be as mentioned above that they’ve done you a favour and/or done themselves a favour by delivering it on their way to work. Getting you the item quicker and saving them some time and possibly money. If it’s as advertised I’d not worry about it.

Are you the same person I flogged a camera to many years ago? Auction ended at 10am on a Sunday morning, with fiver for postage and packaging. I packaged it up, then noted the address as being somewhere not too far out from where I was going later that day, probably a 20 minute journey out my way. So I went round, knocked on the door and the chap answered,
"Hi, here's the camera you won earlier"
Oh, thanks, are you refunding postage then?
Errm, no, I was kinda passing, so thought I'd drop it in
Oh ok
And that was that, I left, he still left positive feedback but commented that I'd delivered it and still charged postage!?
