If I hear the word Flash I have to recite, "Ah-ah-ah! Saviour of the Universe!" This has been happening for years, long before the current TV advert.

It's such a burden.

Too many to mention - my initial offering:

The country Costa Rica.

Has to be referred to as "Costa Rica Ka Ka Ka"

My cousin's wife, called Leonie.

Also (always) known as "Eeel Leeownay" - in an awful nasal drawl.

By way of homage to Murray Walker referring to Nigel Mansel by the nickname "il leone" he was given by Ferrari fans in his time at the team.

If in a conversation some says "It means nothing to me", I have to say "O Vienna".

But often I say both lines for very poor comedic effect.

If a car manoeuvres without indicating i say out loud, in a high-pitched childlike voice, "He got no indicators, that man."

I've no idea where it came from, it may be of my own invention. Either way it annoys the fk out of me.

Quite a few tourists around our way.
every time a car with plates from Holland goes the other way I sing "Pass the Dutchy on the left hand side". Wife hates it. Maybe because we are passing it on the RHS.....?

By the way who is Pavlov?

If ever someone called Dan is mentioned the following rhyme must be intoned:

Dan Dan, funny wee man,
Baked his bread in a frying pan,
Combed his hair with the leg of a chair,
Dan Dan, funny wee man.

Pavlov conditioned his dog to salivate when he (the dog) heard a hand bell. During the conditioning, Pavlov would sound the bell when he gave the dog some food. The dog learned to associate the bell with food.

I've got millions...

Every time I saw or heard

I had to say tablet.

If I see Rosamund Pike I must say don't tell him.

In the 80s/90s we used to play word association football. That was funny (to us) in a group. Zidane..you're rocking the boat.

Struggling to think of specific examples yet it happens all the time, principally with references to Red Dwarf, Black Adder, Father Ted or Monty Python (more the films than the TV series). In jokes with my wife and daughter. Other people, if they overhear us, most wonder what they hell we are talking about.
