Has anyone saved your life?

Someone saved my life, yes in 1998. Had a spin on ice in my mid-engined MGF. Went backwards into a tree, engine into my spine and broken skull, unconscious. Car caught fire. A disabled chap was driving by, pulled me out of the burning car and got me into an ambulance. When I came out of the coma I sent him a sizeable cheque, which he returned. Eternally grateful
Doctors in A&E a few times but most importantly was when i apparently was lying in bed eyes wide open but no idea, that was a blue light ambulance job. I came to 7 hrs later in A&E.
Another time, in and out of a hot factory one January day, didn't feel great and due to ill health work called mum who came and took me to the gp's. Three different GP's checked my blood pressure as they didn't believe it - it was dangerously low and it turned out i had hypothermia too, i was 5 minutes away from being in really really serious trouble that day.

Was very young, probably no more than 5 years old.
Slipped into the sea off some rocks after following my dad across them after my mum telling me not to.
My dad managed to haul me out with no lasting damage, very lucky boy.
Oh and my brother too, we were chilling in a swimming pool on holiday, no one really around, the odd person passing, I think we may have even been the only ones in the pool at the time.
I'm a competent swimmer, had bought an inflatable boat type thing that day and had it with us with my brother on it at the time.
I was doing laps of the pool, got to the deep end and my leg seized up, couldn't swim any more and wasn't near the wall.
Managed to get my brother's attention and he swam over to me with the inflatable and I got myself in.
As it goes, I'm not a fan of going underwater (which is a shame, as I always genuinely fancied being a lifeguard when I was younger).

Physically, the a&e dept in Harrogate. Viral meningitis and it was terrifying.
Emotionally, my 2nd wife, saved me from the abhorrent emotionally draining vacuum that was my crazy first wife (who incidentally tried to kill me by driving the car off the road on purpose - that was the last time I saw her face to face)

A great bloke.
Yes fell 20 metres off a mountain, 7am in the morning, no mobile coverage, lots of broken bones a, injuries and blood, broken skull etc, no one around, forever grateful to the two chaps who heard my cry for help after 1.5 hours, airlifted off eventually. With out them I wouldn’t be here now.

Not mine, but one of my sons’. They were born at 30 weeks, the smaller one was 2lb 4. When he was about 12 weeks, he hadn’t fed very well so instead of leaving him to sleep in the buggy after dropping our daughter at school, my wife picked him up. He hadn’t been breathing for a bit. She ran the 200 yards to the village surgery with him and one of the GPs resuscitated him. He was 9 a couple of weeks ago.
After a major operation I overdosed on morphine. I was technically in intensive care but I was in a private room with a nurse. She realised what was happening and injected Narcan. I came round to a sea of faces shouting at me and I was struggling to breathe. Six months later I had a stem cell transplant and I found out later this was controversial (at the time - 1997) and my case was presented at conferences, so I suppose my life was saved again by a brilliant professor at Charing Cross Hospital
