Can anyone ID this symbol? (found next to a swastika)

Someone has taken it upon themselves to draw the thing below and a swastika near the local war memorial (and knock over one of those metal outlined soldiers). Can anyone identify it?



I've had a Google and been on adl.org but I can't see anything obvious. It looks too well thought out to just be a random thing though.

A really st death's head by a knuckle dragging idiot who vaguely remembers seeing a Nazi uniform with a skull on would be my guess.

It has more of a Viking theme to it in my eyes but I don't know a great deal about this kind of thing.

With it being next to a swastika I just presumed it would be related but it's probably best to resist trying to understand what people doing this sort of thing near a war memorial might be thinking.

The best I can come up with is a mixture of different Waffen-SS division flags. Totenkopf is the most obvious with the skull while the axes in the background are more like the flag of the Dirlewanger division (still wrong though). It may also be that I am reading too much into the matter.

We had a lad at school who was well into his nazi stuff. He loved doing mad stuff like this. Moved away when about 16 so never knew if he turned out a nut job or not

My first thought was a bdisation of the LSSSAH and Totenkopf - really lost for words here especially if it's meant to be the filth of dirlewanger

My only reason for thinking it's to do with Dirlewanger is the crossed axes, which aren't a million miles from the crossed grenades (in design, at least). I think I'd rather it was inspired by LSSAH than Dirlewanger.

The other, more concerning possibility, is that it's to do with none of the Waffen-SS divisions and is instead inspired by modern Neo-Nazi groups like Atomwaffen Division.
