Sold some wheels and looking for recommendations on who I should use to ship a pallet with four alloys and tyres... would like them to offer a form of insurance as well should the unfortunate happen

I seem to remember Paisley Freight were good for wheel shipping, not sure if still the case though

I always use Paisley Freight and have never had any issues with them

It's all about packing them up properly and safely

However, I've never used a pallet service; so maybe you need to look on their website to see if they offer this

Do they have to be palletised? I couriered 4 wheels with tyres mounted from the Scottish highlands (Fort William) to me here in Derby via DPD for about £25. They offered insurance but it was quite expensive, maybe £30 extra?

As long as they're packed well with cardboard over the faces and then covered in bubble wrap they should be fine to ship individually.

Just to say I'd avoid using 'Shiply' at all costs. A few years ago I effectively paid (foolishly, in advance) someone to collect a bought item, and they just disappeared without a trace. Shiply as a company accept no responsibility, hiding behind a "we're just a broker" attitude.
