Customs Covid Delays?

Boring question I know and I'm unsure if this is the right forum but...

Is UK customs seeing delays due to Covid?
I have a small package value of about £2k and it's been there a week!
Is this normal?
It's jewellery if ty hat makes any difference.

You should be ok at this moment in time

As for January onwards.,,,I'm sure nothing is going to happen that will cause massive delays & huge queues at UK ports & customs

Parcelfarce cleared mine in about 3/4 days, so about usual really. Was from the USA

I contacted the company who posted the item and apparently there have been delays all round recently.

However, I'm concerned that I need to pay duty before it is released (I know I do) and the invoice has just been lost in the post. Do I contact the customs hub in Coventry?

Morning everyone,

My parcel still hasn't arrived.
It arrived in the UK on 15th November, I had a customs declaraion form to fill in which was returned on the 1st December.... nothing since.

Parcelforce won't help and the customs contact methods are for commercial traffic only.

2 months is a very long time for something to be sat there for.
