Which PH'er is named after the coolest person?

Following on from the recent names thread, I thought this might be interesting...
So which famous person did your parents chose to name you after, if they did? Which PH'er, was named after the coolest person.
My story is that my middle name is Glen, growing up in the 80's, I told all my mates that I was named after Glenn Hoddle and wrote my name with the extra 'N', however the reality was actually much cooler than I realised as Dad was a big fan of Glen Campbell, so I was actually named after him, I just didn't know who he was.
I am now a big Country fan (not Big Country the band!) and love Glen's stuff, his last album before passing was so touching.
Rules are that you must actually be named after that person and have been told that was the reason why you were so named, not that you share the same name

I was going to argue that Lauda was almost the anti-cool of F1 - which is conversely even more cool.

Around the time I was due in May '82, Alex Higgins won the World Snooker Championships. None of my family were snooker fans but it put the name on their radar so I ended up with the name Alex.

My mother gave us both names that couldn't be shortened. Irony being, everyone misses the second N from my brother's name when they write it.
I wasn't named after anyone.
