Fastest way of getting a letter to France?

Need to get a letter to France, if possible in 1 day. Must be tracked etc.

Royal Mail are saying 3-4 days, anyone got any ideas?

Going to be tricky this time of year, but if it absolutely has to be 24 hours (assuming you can't send it electronically) I'd use FedEx's International First.

I wouldn't bother with Royal Mail tracking. I sent a (legal) letter to France a few months ago, tracked. They wouldn't take any responsibility after it left the UK and then it disappeared, with France saying they'd never seen it at all. Great service.

It is something signed (witnessed by a solicitor). I will be scanning and e mailing, but they want the original posting.

Try a courier service. We used a couple for overnight document delivery to Paris a few times. Br aware thougn that it can go wrong. DHL were used for such a document with a deliver before 12.00 next day. I had a call asking where it was. I phoned our DHL account admin to query. It was in Barcelona!

Try UPS, when I deliver parcels to the local customer center until 21:00 pm,

they still offer the options of "before 10:00, 10:00 to 12:00, or 12:00 to 17:00" for the NEXT DAY !
