Recommend me some boots (other than Hunters!), please

I'm not sure why, when they're badly-made Chinese rubbish, but the default boot in my household seems to be Hunters. Plus, they always seem to look like the wearer has some kind of status-deficiency. My wife's choice, not mine.
Anyway, having had another pair fall apart in next to no time, it's time to buy her a new pair of boots for Christmas.
A pair like a farmer's wife would wear, but not green.
Money no object.

I have a pair of Bogs on the way to try them out. I manage 6-10km daily dog walking, split roughly evening between tarmac paths and muddy riverside paths.

No idea where they’re made, but I highly recommend Muck Boots. Lots of different styles and mine are honestly like outdoor slippers - they’re so bloody comfortable I ignore the jibes and wear them to work when it’s cold.
My wife loves the pair I got her last Christmas.

A farmer would wear green wellies either Noras or Dunlop Purofoot
Noras wear quickly, Ive worn Purofoot for the last 10 or so years, they're good but I'm sure not as good as they used to be. I bought Muckboots once as they were said to be good, I didn't rate them.

Bought Dubarry Longford for my wife's birthday. She loves them. Sizing seems to come up a bit small. We'll see what the quality is really like over time but I hope they're top notch as they're top price.
Got myself Grub's Fenline 5. Only had them three weeks but I'm wearing them everyday for dog-walking and they are comfortable, warm and have good grip and a decent calf size. The Aigle ones I bought had to be sent back as too tight in the calf.
