What am I looking for?!

The bendy legs you get on things like small phone tripods or in car phone holders - what the bloody hell are they called?!!! It seems like I should be able to type it in to Google and immediately find what I need, but words to describe what I’m after are failing me!

I need to get a dozen or so for something at work, only maybe 6-10 inches long, but I’ll be buggered if I can find anything on Google using any words that resemble what they are - ‘bendy metal legs’, ‘flexible legs’ (that was a fun one on a work computer). Even tried ‘thick pipe cleaners’ as something like those furry things kids make pictures out of would be fine.

Help me PH, help me.

ETA - it’s just the ‘legs’ I want, not the whole phone holder.

If it is just the lengths of jointed plastic you want the original application was for flexible coolant hose on machine tools.

Just Google flexible coolant hose and it will come up

That was my first thought too!

Helix, Westcott and Jakaflex all do flexible rulers for old-style draughting. These come in lengths upto 60cm (2 ft) and will hold their shape once formed.

I need to use it to install small cameras behind things like signs or hoarding etc, so I can stick magnets on each end, magnetise the signs and then just manipulate the camera to get the right angle, so these are absolutely Bob on!

Needs to a nice bright non-threatening colour
