The average person in the street looks at a decent fit and either appreciates the contents of the jeans or not. They don't look at a nice arse and think I wonder if those are Primark or Calvin Klein.

I'd normally agree. But was very (pleasantly) surprised at Primark. Not like that at all. And most are stretch, even the straight leg ones. Presumably catering for their usual customer demographic. I can usually walk into Primark, find 34/30 and know they will be a good fit.Tyre Smoke said:

So I invested in a pair of hiuts recently, really expensive compared to what I’d normally buy, the fit and quality is amazing and you really do notice the difference. Yes no one will no what you’re wearing but they are so comfortable and that’s not forgetting the free repairs for life. I have to say, for between £10-£15 Primark jeans are surprisingly good.

Not cheap but with all the different sizes, waist, leg and 3 fits (no leg day, normal, cyclist/rugby player) I found they've fitted better for me than any other jeans

I had a similar problem with big thighs and have also found the trick is jeans with stretch, similarly have been very pleased with my Sainsbury's pairs, in fact I started getting my semi-smart work trousers from them as well
