Following on from a "got done for drunk driving LOL" comment in another thread. What other threads/comments do you see and pretty much don't have to open it?

A regular I see is on the Reliant Facebook group.
"Oh I think I'm interested in a Robin Reliant"
A common mix-up, granted, but it's then followed by ONE THOUSAND HUFFS OF INDIGNATION!
"Oh, what's this new Robin car manufacturer"
"You don't say Escort Ford* do you?"
"Ha, ha, ha, ooh, look at my boat speed!"
Yawn.

*Also - When was the last time you saw a Ford Escort in the wild? So no I probably wouldn't say either often. And what if there's a shallow river crossing frequented by ladies of the night? What are you supposed to call that? The Hooker Paddlethrough?

"This is a photo of my auntie and I on the front of her Bentley"

...I may be paraphrasing but that was fairly predictable - the photoshops were epic.

The endless tyre threads. Some poor sod asks about reasonably-priced tyres for an entirely average small hatchback. Cue a tirade of adenoidal,

"Are you mad? They're the only thing between you and the road."
"Michelin PSS4s are the only tyre to even consider if you take driving seriously."

And a sharp downward spiral from there.

Pop in to general gassing.

Anything slightly hot from the German 3 will result in a 'they are all rented' comment likely followed by an argument.

Any thread about PCP, HP or outright purchasing.

"You can't afford it if you can't buy it"

"I could buy it 10 times over with the money in my ISA, but the money is working better there... "

Yada, yada, yada.

Any thread in GG (no matter what the subject) where the discussion drifts to "merge in turn".

Always downhill from that point

Oh, and at the moment this one is living up to the PH Stereotypes, where working-class oiks should be grateful for the opportunity to repair the vehicles of the powerfully-built,

Electric cars. In every case

“ not viable until I can charge in 5 mins flat and have a 900 mile range”

Because that is the standard PH singular driving trip apparently

It’s Michelin crossclimate now, do keep up. Otherwise the sprinkling of snow will have you careering into a lamppost in a jiffy
