If you've got a pension with NOW: Pensions keep an eye out for phishing emails. A contractor working for NOW: Pensions uploaded a file containing personal information of 1.7million customers to a public forum. The data uploaded included names, dates of birth, national insurance numbers, email addresses, probably much else besides. The data was publically available for 3 or 4 days.
Affected customers are being offered a year's subscription to Experian's identity protection service. Woohoo.
