Clubs or Societies

Are you a member of a club or society? If you are is their a health membership which means its likely to continue into the future?

I've been a member of a yacht club in the last decade but when I visit them now the membership is looking very old and I can see lots of them folding in the foreseeable future (obviously there are exceptions).

The local village amateur dramatic society has ceased to put on productions.

I have a feeling that the population as a whole is less interested in signing up for clubs / societies than it once was.
