On a serious note, the elderly do struggle to twist off some of these jar lids, & I hope that was designed with that scenario partly in mind!

Is it easier to open or just a different method just for the sake of it?

No, it twists to unscrew but the lid is two piece.

just bang the edge of the jar lid off the worktop, usually pops a tough seal

Forget the moon, we’ve been there. Concentrate on real life issues. How to get the lid off a jar.

It’s genius and as mentioned a godsend for the elderly.

It kinda twists and a bit of the lid stays still, I thought it was broken but no Voila!

It’s amazing and ranks up there with squeezy tomato sauce.

Why the need for a lid at all ?

A squeezy toothpaste style container would be more handy.
