Hi,

I'm helping clear out a relatives loft. My dad is unwilling to throw any of the stuff away.
Things like this teapot? below.

Can anybody identify age or any other info from it?
I can't see any markings on it.

TIA

It's a copper kettle. Reproduction by the look of it and decorative not functional. Not worth a huge amount.

As Tyre Smoke says. If it was genuinely old and made to be functional it wouldn't have those bun feet - it would have a solid flat base to sit on top of a range or stove.

Is it like Crackerjack, where if you drop something or get an answer wrong, Eamonn Andrews gives you a cabbage?

Don't rub it !

You'll get a cloth capped genie from Yorkshire pop out and instead of granting wishes will demand death by combat, using Eckie Thump.

Link activated. So basically what you're saying is, it's a case of the pot calling the kettle black?

Looks like a souvenir tea spoon, probably Thai.

There's a teaspoon thread hereabouts. Not sure if it's much help though, they're all totally bonkers.

The spoon is actually rare and very valuable.
The marks you see are the first Arabian hall marks ever used to prove the quality of the gold.
That reference dates to 123AD.
Whatever you do, don’t polish it as its value would drop significantly.

A similar spoon was recently discovered by archaeologists near Luxor and is valued at £140,000.
