Billy has a bus stop

If I was to make a sign to show this, do I write:

Billy's bus stop

or

Billys bus stop


I made the sign, my wife said it was wrong, so I re did it. However I think I'm right, but I'm a bit thick.

I now have a sign with Billy's on one side and Billys on the other side, which way does it go.

I let you know later which one is my work.

If the bus stop belongs to Billy it should have an apostrophe.

Billys bus stop would be several billies and a bus stop, which doesn’t quite make sense.

So no wasted oak, just a bit of time.
I have a cabinetmaking business, so it only took 10 mins a side, so no real issue apart from a win over the mrs.

Several billys owning the bus stop would require a possessive plural apostrophe - billys' bus stop, as 2smokinbarrels noted.

If it's the name of a place called Bus Stop then yes. If it's a bus stop where buses stop then no.

Sadly died 2 years, wife has a dog walking field with 2 shelters, one is called Billy's bus stop, the other Charlie's Cabin.
