At what point do private sellers become scammers?

I was just browsing my local FB marketplace group and saw the most hideous 'crushed diamond' butter dish..the lady was asking for £46 !
This thing was so hideous I had a look on eBay to see what the deal was and prices start at around £20 for brand new ones.
My first thought was that she was scamming people but then, is it really a scam?
All retailers charge for their 'services' and you are free to shop around to find better prices!
Plus of course, if you want a crushed diamond butter dish for £46, you probably have more money than sense anyway.

I think as long as she has described the item and it's condition correctly and if someone pays the agreed price she supplies the item then I don't see it is a scam.
It's a free market and people can shop around should they wish.
I see over priced items all the time on eBay, FB marketplace any other formats but if they are not hiding anything then good luck to them.

Yeah, I do agree..I once bought a very badly advertised Sony Blu ray player with built in surround amp from market place (terrible photos and the only text was 'DVD player'.)
She was asking for £10!
When I put it on eBay with nice pics and a good description it went for £80 plus delivery, which surprised even me!
