Any casino poker buffs here?

AIUI in a casino poker is dealt from a six card shoe. Correct?

If so, are all six decks shuffled together then put in the shoe, or is each deck shuffled individually then the six decks placed sequentially in the deck? And if it is the latter, how does the dealer manage as they get towards the end of a deck?

If it’s the first, what’s to stop (say) all 24 aces appearing together so that in a (say) six person game everyone is holding two and there are five on the table? Obviously an extreme example but more moderate anomalies are more probable.

If there are six sequential decks in the shoe, at the transition point from deck A to deck B you could end up with the same card appearing twice in the same hand - so is the fag end of deck A removed once play gets close to it?

I’m not sure table poker is 6 decks, is it? I know blackjack is because you could have a huge number of cards on the table on a 6 person game, but you’d only ever have a max of 19 cards out on poker.

Think you’d have to have to have 23 players on a table for cards to run out in poker!

Assuming it’s the most common variant of poker (Texas Hold’em) it’s played with 1 deck. Playing with 6 (or even 2) would make the hands potentially ridiculously easy.
