What the hell do you think you are doing? This isnt some "Paddypower Fans & Support" Facebook group, made up by someone looking to be the most popular lowlife in the betting shop.

Do you think it been done like that on purpose so people slip up and bet their own money rather than just the free bet? Bit like Amazon making it very difficult or confusing to purchase anything without siging up to Prime.I don't bet ever these days, not even office grand national sweepstakes, its just dead money. Also I have seen what it does to people who can't control it.

(and i love betting) Anyone else noticed loads of betting adverts lately banging on about "responsible gambling". Having had friends work in the industry, they really couldnt give a s
t about gambling addicts or problem gamblers so one wonders if the government have been applying a bit of pressure lately so they are all jumping on the bandwagon to make them look good for a bit?
I remember when my friend used to work in a callcentre for one, they used to offer discretionary credit to customers on benefits a day or two before the money comes in.
I wonder how much benefit money goes straight into the pockets of gambling companies? and on alcohol/drugs for that matter?

Good point, some of us have lived through this, My father was never on benefits but he always put money for gambling on horses ahead of shoes and clothes for his children, food for the table or anything else. His only defence was 'I don't go to the pub'.I hate gambling advertisements with a passion, they try to hook you and they never let go.

Used to quite often get stuck behind one gambling junkie at the local bargain booze. hed buy a load of scratchcards but was that fidgity and sweating he would refuse to move away from the till until hes scratched them and thus hold everyone up. Then the
would win £1 and hold people up more to get another one. I think online gambling is an industry this country could easily do without.

Yep all or nothing if it comes second he wins nothing. He will be a very brave or stupid man not to cash out. That figure will increase before the race start even during the race if the horse is leading. Assuming he loses the lot, then he's a fool if he doesn't cash out or at least negotiate a slightly higher amount.
