I use flint for honing and metal finishing, I am guessing that this piece of flint was picked up from the ground, is it from Norfolk by any chance?

No, my 3 year old dug it out of the garden in West Yorkshire

Thanks, I am also in West Yorkshire, haven't seen any flint in the ground around here, perhaps imported from a holiday at the coast.
