What's the oldest thing you normally carry around with you?

On my keyring, I have a small flat screwdriver which was given away, sellotaped to the front cover of "Practical Motorist" in 1968.

Always kept it with me for some reason, has come in handy a couple of times.

If jewellery counts, the ring on my right ring finger was originally made in 1943, bit of a Trigger's Broom these days, but it's now a mix of two pieces of gold from my grandparents.

He died in 1994, and when we cleared out his stuff neither me nor my brother had the heart to throw it away. It lay around my house for years until a surgeon removed various chunks of my leg and I found a use for it.

My wedding ring (white gold) became loose.

Slipped off a few times in the shower. Bit worried about it coming off in the sea.

Mentioned this to my mum when i was in UK a couple of years ago.

She had a rummage through a drawer and came up with her great-aunt’s wedding ring.

This fits nicely on top of my ring and keeps both on perfectly.

The wedding was in the 1920s but the ring was secondhand and dates from 1891.

There are a few stories about this great-aunt, apparently a big old unit with a rather odd sense of humourt.

Yep, i'd go with the date being birth date and he is A rhesus positive judging by the letters

I have a bronze bracelet thing on my right wrist which is supposedly from 10th century, bought from an antiques dealer. For all i know it could have been made in some blokes garage 20 years ago.

What is the point of the blood group being on there? You won't be given a blood transfusion without the authorities checking your blood group.

A bit more walt stuff, it seems.
