Saw this today - does anyone know what Covid Community Support is or does, and why they need blue lights on their vehicles?

Maybe abusing ambulance legislation to carry a doc/medic to go to care homes/residential places to assess covid patients for admission maybe?

Covid Community Support are a range of people (NHS, council, volunteer and charity) coordinated between a joint effort of the NHS and Council that are formed as a response group to deliver and administer vaccines into the community - via popup, roving, multi-generational household visits, etc...

The blue lights are for vaccine transport to rapidly move them when required to minimise wastage and also for responding to situations of adverse reactions similar to paramedic bikes/cars.

As said, it is a legitimate organisation helping with vaccines etc and nothing sinister.
