That was a bit bland, I was hoping for something spicier.

Wife left her phone in a Brewers Fare.

She noticed in the car park and I nipped back in to find it still lying on the table.

I ran out of both Ribena and tartar sauce.

Replacements will not arrive until tomorrow. I have had to console myself with a bottle of Chablis. It's working.

My local Tesco had run out of Burford Browns. Bog standard organic eggs for breakfast tomorrow then.

My spoon wasnt long enough to reach the bottom of my Eaton Mess and nor was my tongue.

I had the same problem a few years ago with my Knickerbocker Glory.

My wife offered me a cup of tea, got sidetracked WFH and took over 40 minutes to bring it.

Tried to find something palatable you could make with Cointreau.

Wasted some gin and lemon juice.

Went into a call with the intention of bking a subordinate and found that I wasn’t able to deflect his allegation that it was all someone else’s fault.

Called a contractor with some queries about his quote. He didn’t pick up. Took a call from my other half which meant that my questions for him were best left until we had another quote. Got a call back from him and had to have a pointless conversation.

Is this the first world irritations thread?

I forgot that due to her bad back my partner hadn't bought me any beer in the weekly shop... damn near ruined Friday beer o'clock.
Had to leg it to Bargain Booze (council?) and was pleasantly surprised to see they stock Wolf Rock... crisis averted.

All it needs is to be cold from the fridge and one or two ice cubes. Maybe some lime juice.

It was shaken with ice. I had to make a mojito to take away the taste. And another mojito. Also to take away the taste.
