2021 UK weather

Looking out of the window as I write wondering wtaf is going on with the weather this year. Compared to the last few it's like moving from Kent to Inverness...

Any meteorologists on here care to explain?

We were spoilt last year, but 2021's been terrible weather-wise. I blame too many people working from home and not enough global warming taking place as a result...

Joking aside, I wonder whether atmospheric particulates from air travel have an impact on rain falling over the ocean vs over the UK.

All to do with the Jetstream apparently. It's a long way south so all the wet and cold weather is over us.

Late next week it may come north and let some warmer and drier weather come our way.

God knows we need it.

LOL. I remember reading on here last year about how the superb weather in April and may was due to the lack of planes in the skies.

2018 wasn't it we had that heatwave in the UK which was supposed to be a yearly event thereafter #globalwarming
