Hidden message

I've been in my house 25 years .
The kitchen was fully tiled when I bought it.
I knocked some off yesterday and found this message.

Can’t really make it out. Can see something about a cellar. What does it say?

This slight change makes more sense?

There is no cellar,there is a suspended floor though.
The house was built in 1939,it was previously part of a farm.....maybe there was an outbuilding with a cellar on the site previously?

Written in pencil, what builders use, it is just a jest, well unless you do find a cellar, then start worrying.

Slightly enhancing the image makes it a bit more legible.

I think the opening line is: "To whom it may concern"

And: "Do not look for a cellar as you may have heard about Count I..."

"You will know the story ... is true.."

"He was t.... ...ed (t... killed?) in January 1888..."

etc.
