Euromillions - a scam?

I occasionally like a flutter on the Lotto or the Euromillions if there is a roll-over as clearly I feel I have more chance of winning those (sarcasm). I played a line last night when the jackpot was £76m. I'm happy to be corrected but it is my understanding that last ticket must be bought by 19:30 UK time and the draw takes place around 19:45 UK time. I was watching telly last night around 18:30 and they were already advertising the Friday jackpot at £107m!

Surely they couldn't conjure up £107m if someone had managed to win the £76m last night. Seems rather fishy to me.

Friday's draw is a 'Super Jackpot' - they do them regularly: one-off big money draws to clear out a backlog of unclaimed prize money.

The Friday jackpot has been advertised for weeks it’s not dependant upon the previous draws to make it happen.

Nah been advertised for a month. They do a big event every couple months. Scam in the sense ill waste £2.50 and not get a number though.
