k right off. I’ve been close to that situation to the point where my ex argued in court my son shouldn’t see me as I flew on commercial aircraft rather than the private jets he was accustomed to. Thankfully even the Texan judge told her she was being ridiculous.

Unlikely to be UK based, firstly given the salaries quoted. 250K for GP - very unlikely for someone who isn't primarily trained as a GP, that level of pay is for the business leader of a group of practices not a grunt signing prescriptions and MED3 forms.
Secondly, someone who's specialty is Plastics and makes it their prime employment is unlikely to be able to drop into GP land easily, to be frank super specialism is of little use in this context and they are likely to be more of a hindrance. The ability to do a perfect Z plasty with micro suturing is unlikely to stand you in good stead with a snotty kid or Mrs Miggins who's tired all the time - again.
Suspect this is from over the Atlantic where all bets are off for what happens around money and medicine. Yup, she's far too entitled as well...

The salary is certainly in the norms for a US plastic surgeon - I know a heart surgeon out there who certainly makes that or more. I also firmly believe she’s not making it up either. When I was living in Texas I was told you could fIf not then zero sympathy for either party
