Has anyone else noticed a recent creeping trend for middle-aged men to grow ill-advised moustaches? On an increasing number of occasions, lately, the mask has quite literally slipped to reveal a facial slug. It is shocking and unnecessary.

I am assuming that Movember hasn't become Mo-June and there is no other reasonable excuse. This morning on the BBC:

Funnily enough I keep thinking about growing one. Reasoning being that its all I'm allowed at work, and that seems to be in danger of overruling the part of me that knows I will look like a sex offender. Luckily my girlfriend is keeping me in check, for now...
